Missouri Athletic Club Wedding | Brandon & Catie

Brandon and Catie had the most memorable Saint Louis wedding at the Missouri Athletic Club! What made it so memorable you ask? Well the morning started out with thunderstorms, then cleared up for a beautiful spring afternoon, then ended with tornado warnings. Hello midwest spring! Although the weather was extremely unpredictable, these two did not let that put a damper on their wedding day.

Their wedding ceremony was at the beautiful Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church in Saint Louis, Missouri. The tall windows, beautiful natural light, and intricate architecture were breathtaking. Brandon had the sweetest gaze as he watched his bride walk down the aisle.

After their wedding, we headed straight to Brandon and Catie’s home to see their fur baby, Penny! Penny was the star of the afternoon! Her sweet kisses to the newlyweds just warmed my heart! We made our way to downtown Saint Louis for their portraits by the arch! Catie told me before her wedding that they wanted all things St. Louis for their wedding celebration so that meant photos by the arch! Thankfully the rain held out!

We ended the night at the beautiful Missouri Athletic Club in the Missouri Ballroom. As soon as you walk into the place, you are stunned by the beautiful tall windows, chandeliers and classically elegant setting. In true midwestern fashion, we were quickly approved by a tornado warning causing all the guests to rush to the basement of the building. The MAC stepped up and made sure they had appetizers and drinks down in the basement so the party could continue. As soon as the stormed passed, we continued the night for dinner, cake and lots of dancing.
