There are some couples who step in front of the camera and instantly fall into their own rhythm—effortless, playful, and deeply connected. That’s exactly what happened during this romantic St. Louis engagement session with Jen & Jeremy. We began at the iconic St. Louis Central Public Library and wrapped with the dreamiest golden-hour stroll through Lafayette Square Park.
This entire gallery feels like a modern rom-com: soft movement, real laughter, intimate moments, and just enough nostalgia to make every frame feel like a memory.
We kicked things off at the Central Public Library in Downtown STL. This is one of the most elegant and architectural photo locations in the city. Its grand stone facade, iron gates, and beautifully restored details give every image a classic, editorial feel.
These two showed up glowing—coordinated neutrals, natural movement, and that perfect balance of romance and fun. We wandered around the steps and ironwork, capturing soft kisses, forehead touches, and the kind of quiet affection that doesn’t need posing.
There’s something magical about the library at this time of day. The light, the symmetry, the stillness—it all creates such a cinematic backdrop for an engagement session.
After soaking up the downtown architecture, we headed to Lafayette Square Park. This gave us a completely different vibe—warm, whimsical, and full of motion.
Lafayette Square is one of my favorite St. Louis engagement locations because it blends:
- Historic Victorian homes
- Charming tree-lined streets
- Romantic stone paths and gardens
And these two brought it to life.
They ran through the street laughing, cozied up under the trees, and walked hand-in-hand past the row homes like they were filming the final scene of a love story. The black-and-white frames especially feel nostalgic. Like timeless memories you’d keep in a shoebox forever.
We ended the evening along the park’s winding paths, capturing those last glowy moments as the sun dipped behind the trees. The warmth, the movement, the joy… it was perfect.
